You wouldn't be buying into that "liberal Media" tripe, by any chance ? It's owned by big business. Any implications of that not crystal clear ?
Try "The Centre for Media and Democracy" for their "Weekly Spin". That's only one that should get knickers in a knot.

I'm using Windows Livewriter (Beta)/Wordpress - haven't done the download on that, perhaps I should - and sometimes Opera or Firefox. I've put Performancing in Firefox but haven't given it a proper workout yet. Livewriter is spoiling me because I'm technically impaired yet can throw links to my surfing finds onto my site, something I haven't figured out in Wordpress although aids were posted after I started blogging.

Try Microsoft Live Write. It's a pleasant surprise. I've been using BlogDesk for a while. It's OK, but a bit Spartan for my tastes. Qumana I abandoned too long ago. And maybe you should give Zoundry a spin. Quite close to Microsoft's product.

Oh, so it's our fault you had a 3-day migraine cause we plied you with wine and partied too much at your house? I know you're just getting back at me since, despite your best efforts, you still can't make me into a sci-fi fan! Well, since you didn't name names, I guess it's okay to give us a dishonorable mention in your rant... Still love ya boo and sorry 'bout the migraine,

your friend, Amanda

Oh, Amanda, I'm sorry, I misspoke. I meant to say that YOU gave me the migraine, and that the half glass of wine merely kept it going for three days!

Now, this is interesting. By my rough count, the post in question runs a little over a thousand words, right? My dear friend Amanda (not the same 'Amanda' from POAC who commented on my post about Fascism) managed to pick out the five words that referred to them coming over for an evening and decided that these were the words that really mattered. For my loyal readers (all three of you), Amanda and her husband and stepson are three of the very brightest stars in our sky, and we love them dearly. It's an act of superhuman bravery on their parts to risk venturing into Casa Insanity, and we love them for the effort.

Oh, and I surrender, Amanda: No more attempts to get you to "get" Battlestar Galactica. I'm thinking we'll try low budget vampire movies next. Or perhaps extreme Korean horror films. No, I've got it: The entire Jerry Lewis collection. No, that's too cruel... I'll think of something.

"Dishonorable mention", my ass. I just wish you could fix computers. WF
